Jan is an industrial engineer (economics) and lawyer who is a member of the Hamburg tax advisors bar, the Hamburg lawyers bar and he is registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) in England and Wales. Additionally, has also a  license to act as director in trust matters by the Financial Service Commission (FSC) in Gibraltar.

He has specialist industrial knowledge in the shipping, trusts,  insurance, energy and real estate sectors. Jan delivers, among others, advice with emphasis on German Tonnage Tax and Insurance Premium Tax and he also acts in escrow and trust matters as trustee.
